Currently a student of City and Regional Planning at the Technische Universitaet Berlin Lysia Leal had a previous career as an award-winning singer.

Lysia Leal first studied Music Education at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Throughout her career as a singer, she participated in several TV shows, festivals, tours, and awards and is highly experienced in projects using music as a tool to create better infrastructure, revitalise degraded areas, as well as to promote social-economic development. Lysia participated in more than 20 cultural projects with multidisciplinary teams involving architecture, sports, art, and education, mostly in regions of social risk.

This passion has brought Lysia to a new career path in urban planning and urban Design. She has participated in the bachelor projects of Urban Resilience and E-mobility in TU Berlin.
